The landscape of the King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) holds a strategic relevance reflecting the image of the capital.
While visiting the site in 2018 for audit reasons, it was noted that the landscape at the nursery had been suffering due to irrigation management practices including water quality. The biggest challenge for the landscape in a hot and dry climate such as Saudi Central Province is high evapotranspiration levels.
Right afterward, measurements to save and improve the precious landscape have been taken by installing RADIUS products including Yardney filtration systems, Dosatron fertigation systems, and Baseline smart water management systems for proper operation and control.
The outcome has been phenomenal. Since RADIUS retrofit works, the KKIA nursery has been supplying the airport with healthy plants serving the objective of maintaining a beautiful landscape
